I doubt this Google TV will go anywhere. After the first Google TV device last year, Logitech Revue (that Kirill mentioned), was launched. It belongs to NBC Universal, Viacom and Fox). These three big tiatans quickly began blocking their content from the Revue’s special version of the Chrome web browser(that is Google's). The way they see this, they’re the ones who get to decide which screens customers can watch their content on, not Google. Note that content is still king. So it really doesn’t matter if Google TV connects to all your devices, lets you control it with your phone and transforms into a jet, if it integrates with Google’s Android system better than any device. Google needs to get credibility in content before it can get into your living room. If Google really wants to get into your living room, it needs to offer up some compelling reason that we simply can’t get from Apple, Netflix, and Hulu. They also need to own the original content. What I am saying here, I am sure Google is also aware of this. And, I am sure they are working their @#$% off to address all these obstacles in their biz model. So, you never know. If Google manages to tackle all the issues I addressed here in 2012 (and I mean in 2012, not 2013), Irina might be right - Google TV might be the future. Otherwise, I just can't see it. Knowing Google, most likely, they are going to fail at this Google TV thing, just as it failed with Nexus One, but not because of the content. Google can make deals with Hollywood and the Big record companies. No, Google is going to fail because they not understand what products are. Products are things that have stuff like tech support and decent documentation. Apple understands this; Google has yet to learn. sforms into a jet, if it integrates with Google’s Android system better than any device. Tatiana I hope you all will have access to both TVs in near future. Unfortunately, it doesn't look it will happen anytime soon.
