Depends on what you mean by "most powerful." If by powerful, you mean "the medium that works the best," then I have to say, when used correctly, radio is easily the most powerful. Audio is the most easily retained, and repetition of your advertising message is the key to building recall in the minds of your collective audience. The best and most cost-effective medium to achieve that is radio, no question.

Perhaps mobile/social internet marketing is the most powerful medium of advertising. TV though is still very powerful as well and could be argued by some to hold the title as the most powerful medium.
