A Hackademic from (Bedford-Stuyvesant) Brooklyn, two years ago, I combined my love for learning and technology to create Careersters, a web-based “Career Matchmaker 4 Kids” that gives 12-21 yr. olds a running start in finding their personal mission using the web and I’m also director over at Digital OAKLAND. I’m still a teacher, but with a much larger classroom.

My mission is to transform children’s lives with ubiquitous learning tools that places “a classroom in every room”.

Oakland is a city with a lot of potential and plenty of soul. As a Brooklynite, Oakland reminds me of old Brooklyn in the late 80’s.
