While I am from California, I essentially grew up in the Northern Virginia suburbs, therefore, I am considered “local” to the area. I have a Business undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and an M.B.A. from The George Washington University as well as the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. While I have not yet “left the area”, I have traveled extensively all over the U.S. and the World, including Asia, Western Europe, Latin America, North Africa, and Dubai as well as a recent trip to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone Park, WY. I am avid sports fan, especially in Major League Baseball and College Football. Professionally, I have done Client Service Support, Business Operations, and Project Management for Telecommunications Providers and Technology companies in the Virginia suburbs. I also have an interest in Consulting, Sustainable Business, Clean Technology, and Business Improvement. Currently, I am exploring Consulting and Project Management opportunities with Companies in the DC Metro area.
The variety of professional people to meet, the colleges and universities, the major professional sports teams, the multitude of festivals and events year-round, the different neighborhoods within DC and the close-in suburbs, and the many professional, alumni, personal, and interest-oriented organizations, clubs, and groups available.
